A few weeks ago, I had the awesome opportunity to document the birth of my best friend’s son. It was the first birth I’ve really witnessed. You might be scratching your head, wondering, “But you have a kid, right?”. The answer is “Yes!”, but you see, I slept through his birth. After over 10 hours of intense labor and some pesky cord-wrap shenanigans, I was ushered into an emergency c-section where the numbing power of drugs was quite nap inducing.
