Every kiddo is different with me. And over time, how I interact with them changes too. Some I have to turn everything into a game with. Some mom and dad have to bribe. And some, I just have to ask as I would an adult what I want. B must be a little advanced for his age, because he didn’t really go for our first two approaches. I just finally told him what picture I wanted to get, asked him to help, and he did. He got rewarded by seeing his resulting portrait on the back of my camera. Amazing, right? Oh boy! Where do I start with these guys? I mean, really – whenever L and family are around I know there will be laughter, and sarcasm, and silly faces. Our last photo session didn’t fail to deliver. J and I used to work together. He is one of my favorite lunch buddies, and karaoke entertainers. I was super excited to photograph his family this holiday season, because his boys are awesome.
