My oldest son has the innate ability to sense when we have a family portrait session coming up. In the 2 weeks leading up to it, he pulls his most dangerous stunts to assure a facial injury. I’m “thiiiis” close to purchasing a full face helmet for the kid and locking him in a padded room for the time leading up to photo sessions.

So it was with a sympathetic heart (and a chuckle) that I agreed to reschedule G’s session as K had taken a tumble and it’s marks were visible on his face. By the time our rescheduled session rolled around, K was almost healed and a little processing magic leaves no scars behind 🙂 Since you can never predict when the next tumble will come, just go with the flow. Kid will be kids, right?
