2 yr olds are speedy little things. They also like to fully exercise their own mind and show you that no matter how nicely you ask (or plead) they will do their own thing. Such was the case with little A. He likes his tractor, and his special trains, but he didn’t really enjoy staying in the same spot for more than … Oh … 5 seconds 🙂

It’s not very often that I come across a session where the youngest of my participants wasn’t willing to be entertained (even through bribery). Hr even caught onto my imaginary squirrel spotting. He’s a bright dude, to be sure! Our shoot quickly converted to a ‘hey, let’s just go play on the playground instead’ kind of session. In a way, it’s actually worked out great because this documentary IS about who A is right now: a curious, little dude who wants to see it all, throws leaves in the air, and jumps around.
