Sometimes it is really, really hard for me to pick my favorite images from a session. And I really do try to restrict myself. Today is one of those days. These guys were so wonderful to work with, and I’m really excited for their newborn session in a few months. While I was working w/ Y, dad-to-be R was taking some video. If I can get a hold of it, maybe I’ll do a “behind the scenes” look for you guys… provided I like how I appear on camera 🙂

I was so impressed with the clarity and complexity of her speech, and ability to put together abstract concepts. A lot more than what I expected for a 3 year old, that’s for sure. Of course, this did mean that my attempts to get her to follow my lead and pose for some photos with mom and dad didn’t really go particularly well. She saw right through my games, but it’s kids like her that keep me on my toes and make me do better.
