S’ name means “One who is brilliant” and I gotta tell you, the girl lives up to her name. I was so impressed with the clarity and complexity of her speech, and ability to put together abstract concepts. A lot more than what I expected for a 3 year old, that’s for sure. Of course, this did mean that my attempts to get her to follow my lead and pose for some photos with mom and dad didn’t really go particularly well. She saw right through my games, but it’s kids like her that keep me on my toes and make me do better.
