It’s remarkable to think back and remember that these guys are the very first family I ever photographed. I almost want to link you to that first session with them, but looking back on my work I’m almost a little embarrassed to do so. You see, just as these kids have grown in the past five years so has my photography. So if you’re dedicated enough, go back and see for yourself 🙂 They help to make kick off my mini session season this year. We met on the quiet campus of San Mateo Adult School and took advantage of the totally rad architecture of the grounds and the freedom to run loose on an empty week-end campus. I’ve known these guys for so many years, and this has been my very first photographing them. Jo likes to joke by saying that they’re a family of Chandlers (Friends reference here), but I disagree — they did great. I regret we didn’t have enough time to get some portraits of them in their Giants gear. They are huge fans. HUGE! Next time, guys. Ok? I got to practice my meows with Chloe. I don’t know too many tricks on photographing dogs, but asking them to look for the kitty seams to work most of the time. I was a little worried that Chloe would run off chasing after the ground squirrels all over Cuesta Park, but she did great![…]See more from “Mountain View, CA Mini Session Photographer: Chandlers?!? My baby sister is getting married!!! Next year I’ll play doting maid of honor, and stupid-exited big sis, but for now, I get the honor of playing photographer to these two. I don’t get a chance to do engagement portraits often, so when I get this chance, with two hotties, I mean how can I say no? On this day Little E met me with a running hug. Can’t kick things off any better, I’ll tell you that much! I know it’s not realistic, but my mind is having a hard time wrapping itself around the fact that this little man keeps growing. I feel like he’s still the wee tiny rug rat that I first met when he was only 6 months old. I’ve been so privileged to be his family photographer over the past 3 years, and see his personality evolve over that time. He’s well… three: sweet and cooperative… well, cooperative when he wants to be 🙂 I’m excited over the images we captured that day: we got his happy dance after blowing Daddy[…]See more from “Mountain View, CA Bay Area Child & Family Photographer: Oh 3’s!”

I don’t get the opportunity the photograph newly engaged couples nearly often enough. And couples that are willing to be funny, and silly, and climb on things just because I asked them to? Even rarer, but I got pretty lucky meeting K and N. I took some time during our mega family session event with his sister, to photograph just him and N. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and couldn’t wait to come home and look through the images we captured that day. K hung upside down a tree… just ‘cuz he could. I made them kiss a lot… just ‘cuz I could ;p It was awesome, and I hope through these portraits below you’ll get a sense of how much[…]See more from “Belmont, CA Bay Area Engagement Photographer: Love”
