These faces should look familiar to you guys. They were some of the first families to allow me to photograph them (in their jammies, none-the-less) and have stuck with me ever since. Most of our portrait sessions, so far, have been outdoors. We’ve done woodsy… we’ve done golden fields. I was ready for something a little different and as always, they were trusting enough to let me pull out a spot from my “location library” that I’ve been dying to try out for awhile.I drove by this San Mateo building the last time I had jury duty. San Mateo, CA Newborn Photographer: A little girl

Babies! The first half of my year is always about photographing and welcoming little ones into our world. I quite like it to be honest. It gives me a sense of starting over. When little Q was born, I remember C calling me to say that they were surprised how cute he was and really wanted to capture that. No joke, I came home after my photo-shoot with these guys and bought myself a pair of knee high rain boots. Why? Because how many chances in life do you get to be this joyful jumping in puddles? After seeing N and A embrace the rain and wet and just have pure fun with their little man: how can you NOT want to do that too? Our session hit over the only and probably heaviest rain storm we’ve had all season. N was a trooper and trusted me when I said: I have a place we can go that will keep us dry.
